Hi,

APRN, MSN,PMHNP-BC

I'm Shaquanta Boyd

My work in mental health began when I was 19 years old, working in a psychiatric facility. I cared for patients facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Listening to their stories helped me understand that every diagnosis has a person behind it, with experiences that deserve to be heard and understood.

That understanding continued to grow during my time in the U.S. Navy, where I saw how often people carry stress, exhaustion, anxiety, and depression without showing it. I learned that strength does not mean never struggling. Sometimes, strength is recognizing when something needs to change.

I continued my journey from Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse and ultimately became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Each step shaped how I care for people today.

My approach is straightforward and personal. I listen, ask questions, and work with you to understand what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we create a treatment plan that makes sense for your life, your needs, and where you want to go next.
