Meet the Owner
My name is Quanna Boyd, PMHNP-BC, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing telehealth psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults in New Mexico.
My journey in mental health began at 19 while working in a psychiatric facility. Very early on, I saw how many capable, responsible individuals were silently struggling. They were still showing up to work. Still caring for others. Still meeting expectations. But inside, they felt overwhelmed, exhausted, or discouraged.
After serving in the U.S. Navy, I witnessed how often strength is misunderstood as the absence of struggle. That experience strengthened my belief that seeking support is not weakness, it is wisdom.
I progressed from Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse and ultimately to Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with one goal in mind: to provide thoughtful, respectful care that helps adults feel understood and supported.
Today, I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, and burnout who are ready for a steady, professional, and compassionate approach to mental health care.

Approach
Mental health care should feel safe, steady, and collaborative. Every psychiatric evaluation begins with a comprehensive conversation about your experiences, symptoms, and goals. My role is to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help bring clarity to what you are experiencing.
Treatment planning is personalized and grounded in evidence-based care. When medication is appropriate, it is prescribed carefully and monitored closely. When additional support such as therapy or lifestyle adjustments may be helpful, we discuss those options together.
Many of the adults I work with are used to carrying responsibilities without asking for help. My approach is gentle but structured—offering both reassurance and practical direction.
The goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help you feel more stable, more balanced, and more like yourself again.
